Elaine Schmidt, MD
I became a family physician because I liked the idea of caring for the whole person, not just one body part or system. I have learned over the years that includes their spirits or souls. I enjoy caring for my patients and caring about my patients. I enjoy the variety of ages that I care for, from newborns and pregnant women to the elderly. I feel I have one of the best jobs in the world.
The rest of my life revolves around my son and husband. Colton is involved in Scouts, hockey, soccer and some after school programs which keeps us very busy. I enjoy playing beach volleyball and running. I was raised to be a Wolverine, but can be a Spartan when they are not competing against U of M!
